Chiefdoms belonging to Gudur lie on the left of the river Mayo Tsanaga. From north to south, chiefdoms are as follows: Ndeveley, Kilwo, Mambay, Gilvawa, Gudal, Mangezla, Mokong, Katamsa, Dimeo, Mafaw, Maaca'b, Zidim, and Njeleng. Neighboring chiefdoms on the west include, Mafa, Cuvok, Zamay, and Mawuldal. Chiefdoms on the east include, Mofu-Diamare, Masakal, Mowo, Fulbe and Gisiga.
