Provincial Mini-Unit: Ontario

This provincial mini-unit focuses on Ontario’s journey into Confederation. It conforms to provincial curriculum requirements and allows students to engage with the biographies and statements of provincial, federal, and Indigenous historical figures who adopted pro- and anti-Confederation positions.

Broadly designed, with activities that fulfill requirements in History and Language and Media Literacy from the Grade 8 Ontario curriculum.
