We especially acknowledge and thank the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Jennifer Pettit, for recognizing the historical and environmental value attached to this project. Like Pettit, Connie Van Der Byl, Director of the Institute for Environmental Sustainability (IES) at MRU, has anchored parts of this volume with significant funding support. The chapter on Uranium City, especially, would not be possible without funding. This book has many moving parts and much study has gone into integrating those parts to create a structure that reflects organic wholeness and processes.
