Jonathan Clapperton is an adjunct professor in the Department of History at the University of Victoria.

Jessica M. Dewitt is a PhD candidate in the Department of History at the University of Saskatchewan.

Sterling Evans is retired from the University of Oklahoma, where he held the Louise Welsh Chair in the Department of History.

Zoltán Grossman is a professor of Geography and Native Studies at The Evergreen State College.

Tobasonakwut Peter Kinew (1936–2012) served as Grand Chief of Grand Council Treaty 3, as the first Ontario regional chief for the Assembly of First Nations, and several terms as Chief of the Ojibways of Onigaming.
